“As a Holistic Health Physiotherapist, I’m dedicated to helping you move better, feel stronger, and live well. My approach combines evidence-based physiotherapy with a focus on overall wellness, addressing not just symptoms but the underlying causes. Each treatment plan is individually tailored to restore movement, balance, and long-term wellbeing.”

I was raised here in the Lakes before setting off to work abroad in my twenties. My journey has taken me to America, Europe, and eventually to Dubai, where I spent over a decade living and working before returning home to put down roots and raise my children back here in the Lakes.
I’ve been a physiotherapist for over 20 years, working across both the NHS and private practice. My background includes experience in orthopaedics, from trauma and elective surgery wards to outpatient rehabilitation and pelvic health. During my 13 years in Dubai, I worked in both large hospital settings and smaller clinics, helping to develop services and promote a holistic approach to wellness.
In recent years, I’ve particularly enjoyed working in a busy outpatient department, treating a wide range of injuries and functional problems while supporting pre and postnatal patients and those experiencing chronic pelvic pain. My approach has always been centred on building strong, trusting relationships with my patients — empowering them to take an active role in their recovery and supporting them on their journey to wellness.

Treatments address a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions to help restore movement, reduce pain, and improve overall function. Common problems include:

Pelvic health physiotherapy addresses conditions affecting the muscles, joints, and connective tissues of the pelvis in both men and women. This includes hip, sacral, coccyx, and symphysis pubis pain, as well as muscular and connective tissue problems that can influence the pelvic floor function, the bladder or the bowels. Treatment aims to restore balance, reduce pain, and improve function for overall pelvic wellbeing.

Complementary techniques can support your overall wellbeing and enhance physiotherapy outcomes. Treatments such as acupuncture, massage and therapies that enhance our physical and mental connection can help to reduce stress, release muscle tension and promote recovery by restoring balance throughout the body. These therapies can be integrated into your physiotherapy plan or used as standalone treatments for relaxation and wellness.
At my practice, I offer a range of physiotherapy treatments designed to support your recovery, improve movement, and promote overall wellbeing. Each treatment plan is tailored to your individual needs, combining evidence-based techniques with a holistic approach to health.
